Borderlands 2 PC Patch 1.1.3 Is Out Now (Made It Even Better)

Gearbox just released the latest PC patch (1.1.3) on Steam. Here's what's been added and fixed:

- Added a toggle for whether textures should fade or pop in when a higher-resolution version loads. High-end computers can disable this to avoid seeing lower-resolution textures streaming in. (This is a feature common to all PC ports of games due to console hardware limitations. Why this is awesome is that it actually gives high-end PC users that chance to turn it off and have high resolutions all the time. Good on Gearbox for showing even more support to the PC gaming community.)

- Added the ability to reset all challenge progress for a character once they've completed 85% of all non-DLC, non-area-specific challenge levels. This will keep the player's current challenge bonuses and rank, but reset all challenge progress to 0 and allow challenges to be re-completed for additional ranks and bonuses. Resetting is available on the "challenges" screen of the status menu and will display as a tooltip at the bottom of the screen if the player has met the criteria. (Not sure if this is will be available for console user's but this sounds like an awesome option to keep earning badass skill points. It actually sounds like the bug console users were dealing with where the badass rank would reset but all the point/stats remained.)

- Fixed a bug where profile files set to "read only" were not being saved. (I haven't been affected but good fix.)

- Fixed a performance issue in Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty content with PhysX set to Medium or High. (I haven't played in a week or so but apparently the new DLC made the game dramatically drop in framerates if PhysX was turned to Med or High, switching to Low was a temp fix. Good to see they worked with Nvidia and fixed it quickly.)
