Lame - Dead Space 3 On PC Is Just A Direct Port

So, if you've played Borderlands 2, Sleeping Dogs, Hitman: Absolution or Far Cry 3 and saw how some developers actually take the time to incorporate true PC graphics features into their console ports and make them look amazing, then you're going to be really bummed out...EA and Visceral Games have chosen to literally put no effort into their port, providing no visual enhancements over the console versions of Dead Space 3. This is incredibly disappointing considering how immersive and incredible Dead Space 3 could be with DX11 features and high-resolution textures on a high-end PC.

Even worse, they did decide to take the time to include micro-transactions. EA has once again shown it's true colors (greed) and forced their new business model (micro-transactions) down the consumer's throat. They incorporated the ability to purchase weapon crafting materials directly through the game's interface with real money if you don't want to gather them through regular gameplay. The problem with this is, is that it isn't just a DLC game enhancement, this is the ability to acquire a major game component that gives the player a game-breaking advantage. So you pay $60 to play the game and another $$$ to beat the game? Doesn't really make sense. Anyways, I'm definitely going to wait until it goes on sale to buy it now. Hopefully, Visceral will pull their heads out of their asses and add some PC relevant features in a future patch.
