Leaked: Next Call of Duty Called 'Ghosts' (Not MW4)

An insider has leaked the following:

- Official announcement on 1 May
- Future story using current gen weapons (hmm?). Apparently a major plot event that causes people in the future to use older (our current) weapons
- MP loading screens are now dynamic. No more boring countdown timer, now the characters repel from a chopper or sneak into a map. Basically kind of a mini-game when entering the MP map.
- No more "dolphin diving" gameplay, it's being replaced with "dash into sliding while shooting". I'm guessing kind of like Crysis.
- Peeking around corners is back for consoles
- Role side-to-side in prone
- Specs Ops is being completely replaced but no info on what's replacing it.
- More destructive environments (kind of like Battlefield). Ideally, the team wants a player to be able to shoot down another player's killstreak helicopter, have it crash into a building and the building realistically crumble from the impact. They have this working well in single-player but running into problems with MP.
- Despite the pictures above, this is said to only be a next-gen title (PS4, Xbox 720, PC) and is scheduled to launch Christmas 2013. No word if this means that they'll be using a new graphics engine, but I would assume so.

Will be interesting to see how accurate this info actually is as the holiday season gets closer.
