No Cross-Platform Play Between Xbox One and Xbox 360

More good news...Xbox 360 players will not be able to play with Xbox One players, even though they're both running on the same network service. Harvey Eagle, Microsoft Xbox UK marketing manager, was quoted saying, "Because of the different architecture of the systems it's not possible. Your Xbox Live account on 360 will carry over to Xbox One. That same account will work on both platforms. The multiplayer won't." Basically he's saying that Xbox 360's PowerPC processor won't work with Xbox One's x86 processor. Again, I call bullshit on this...then how do they explain the game Shadowrun that allowed cross-platform play between the Xbox 360 and PC. Or how do they explain the PS3/PC cross-platform playable games (i.e. Portal 2, FFXIV MMO, Lost Planet: Colonies, Phantasy Star Online, Uno, Final Fantasy XI Online, Universe at War: Earth Assault, Team Fortress 2, Portal 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dust 514 with Eve Online), and the PS3 has a customized PowerPC processor. Just more marketing to make the shareholder's happy instead of the consumer.
