As usual Steam is having a great bundle deal, this time to celebrate Star Wars Day. In case you didn't know, May 4th is a fan-made day to celebrate the awesomeness that is Star Wars (excl. the prequel movies) and its relation to the "May Fourth Movement" - an anti-imperialist, cultural, and political movement, similar to what took place during the original movies.
There's a lot of good games in the bundle but if already have or aren't interested in some of them you can pick and choose and still get the discounted price. Aside from the obvious choices like KOTOR and KOTOR II, I definitely recommend Jedi Outcast and, too a lesser extent, Jedi Academy.
Jedi Outcast was an awesome friggin game, great voice acting, cast, story, and action. I played a little last night, and for the most part it still holds up really well and brought back a lot of good memories. It put a smile on my face just navigating through the main menu again after all these years. It was also a game very much appreciated by the gaming community, so there's a ton of mods out there if you do a simple Google search. It's a little misleading when you first start the game, but I promise it's not just a dumbed down boring shooter - take a look at some of the pics on the Steam game page to see what I mean. It even had fun MP.
Jedi Academy came out shortly after Jedi Outcast and used the same engine and gameplay mechanics, but with added character and weapon customization. In my opinion it didn't have the same story depth, but still a really fun game with a lot of personality.
If you don't have the Steam client installed, check out the bundle deal here.
