Ubisoft Officially Confirms - PS4 900p/30fps and Xbox One 792p/30fps

This is very disappointing, especially for a game that was delayed 5 months. However, even though the consoles are a major attribute for this poor performance, the responsibility also falls on the developer. From the numerous articles I've read there are many signs that point to poor optimization (porting the game from last-gen consoles and uncommonly high PC hardware requirements for a recommended play experience). Fortunately, if this is an engine optimization issue, the light at the end of the tunnel is that these can be improved through software patches. In six months or less following the game's release, if they release a patch that increases the resolution or frames per second then poor optimization is definitely the issue.

Let's hope that Ubisoft's future games being developed only for PS4/XO/PC using the new Snowdrop engine (The Division, AC: Unity) will show improved graphical performance.
