Nintendo is set to announce their next-gen console at this year's E3.
It's rumored to be their first HD console with an ATI-built GPU more powerful than the PS3, an IBM-custom built 3-core CPU (like the Xbox 360) but with higher clock speeds and 512MB of onboard memory (same as Xbox 360). It's also rumored to be aiming for a late-2012 launch date, 2 years ahead of Microsoft's and Sony's next-gen releases projected for 2014.
I would probably be more excited about this if they had any games I would like to play - besides a completely HD-overhauled Zelda game.
