Aliens: Colonial Marines - More Details

Here are some cool details/easter eggs in Gearbox's Aliens: Colonial Marines:

- powered by the Unreal Engine 3
- a direct sequel to the movie
- takes place on the same complex
- development team had access to Aliens' production assets
- Bishop's torn legs in the USS Sulaco hanger bay
- access to the vent where Vasquez killed herself and the lieutenant with a grenade
- Newt's doll head
- drop-in/drop-out 4-player co-op (and this is from the same guys who create Borderlands)
- 2-player splitscreen
- players can design their own personal marine (no specific classes or "cookie cutter" characters)
- players can pick up any weapon in the game (again, no class/character restriction)

It still has another year of development left, scheduled to be released some time next year. Still plenty of time for polish and debugging.
