E3 2011: Skyrim Details

I'm watching a demo of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim...

- completely new in-house-built graphics engine (Looks...fucking...amazing)
- Over 16 miles of land to cover
- Entire world is hand drawn, down to the plants
- Duel-wield weapons, staffs, spells
- over 150 dungeons, each uniquely designed
- dynamic weather changes
- can travel horseback
- no character class restriction. you can play with whatever spells and weapons
- all items (thousands of them) viewed in inventory menu are 3D rendered (not the tech that requires glasses)
- can have a job in every town to boost skills
- a working economy in the game
- all perk and skill trees are in the shapes of constellations
- real-time in-game conversations. not in the stop and zoom style of Fallout.
- like Oblivion, the more you use skills and weapons...the more powerful you become at using them
- you can "bookmark" skills and weapons for quick d-pad access

Lots of amazing stuff. I have to go clean my pants now.
