From what I've read and seen this is a know joke RPG, difficult and addicting. Adam Sessler (a G4TV game journalist who's opinion I actually respect) has described the Witcher 2 as what Dragon Age was trying to be. The decisions made in the game actually change the story from chapter to chapter - none of the story parts are tied together regardless of choices made. It also include adult storytelling aspects giving it an ESRB M-rating, including a sex scene in the beginning of the game. Here is a link to the review to get a more in-depth analysis.

The Witcher 2 Coming To The Xbox 360 Fall 2011
Great news for all the hardcore RPG players, the Witcher 2 (just released for PC only) is coming to the Xbox 360 later this year. This game is getting great reviews and is being rated the best looking game on the PC to date. Apparently, you have to have a monster rig in order to play this with all the eye candy. They've even included future tech to future-proof the graphics when video cards start supporting it. Unfortunately, current gen consoles have graphical limitations in comparison to current PC video cards but the developer, CD Projekt, has ensured that the 360 will be a direct adaption and not just a port and will include all the PC updates.
