Gabe Newell - 'Zero Percent of People' Get Nauseous Using the Vive VR Headset

Its Lighthouse motion tracking system tracks users in a given space and provides a highly precise  picture of what they're doing in 3D space, therein providing them with an experience that removes any disconnect between physical motion and what their eyes see in the virtual world. This system can also track multiple devices and other users with headsets simultaneously.

Competition in the VR space is great; however, it looks like Oculus might have lost their window of opportunity to release their device before other companies and get a jump on the competition. There's also a rumor that the consumer Oculus Rift now won't be released until 2016. If true, this isn't good news for Oculus and their $2 bil investor (Facebook). If Steam launches as promised, this Nov, and is compatible with a lot of current games and those in development (Star Citizen ) then it will definitely be my first VR hardware purchase.
