Destiny 2 PC Open Beta Now Available For Pre-Load Thru Battle.Net

Here's a list of PC features that will be available during the Beta:

Modes and features:

·       Mouse and Keyboard support

·       Controller support

·       Custom key mapping

·       Text chat

·       Adjustable field of view

·       21:9 monitor support

Mouse controls:

·       Look Sensitivity

·       Vertical Inversion

·       Horizontal Inversion

·       Aim Smoothing

Graphics settings:

·       Graphics Quality

·       Texture Anistropy

·       Ambient Occlusion

·       Motion Blur

·       Anti-Aliasing (MSAA is still being developed so there might 

be some visual artifacts and performance degradation)

·       Texture Quality

·       Foliage Detail

·       Environment Detail

·       Character Detail

·       Shadow Quality

·       Depth of Field

·       Foliage Shadows

·       Lighting Shading Detail

·       Local Light Shadows

·       Wind Impulse

·       HDR

And these features should be available by launch:

·       SLI

·       Crossfire

I'm actually impressed with the future implementation of SLI/Crossfire. Not many games support this feature because developers don't justify the additional development cost, but it definitely adds longevity by allowing gamers to buy additional GPUs as hardware prices drop and improve the overall experience.

Bungie has also implemented tweaks and fixes that were found in the console Betas:

·       FIXED: Infinite Super Glitch

·       FIXED: Warlock Glide Glitch

·       FIXED: Infinite Grenades Glitch

·       FIXED: Warlocks now have the same Melee Range as all other classes

·       TWEAKED: Globally reduced the time it takes to charge your Super

·       TWEAKED: Increased Grenade Damage in PvE

·       TWEAKED: Increased Power Ammo drops in PvE

Lastly, make sure to update your Nvidia/AMD drivers to the latest versions. I'm not sure about AMD but Nvidia just released updated drivers (385.41).
