Sad news today for the 100+ developers at Irrational who are out of a job. Ken Levine had decided to shift is focus on making a more narrative, replayable game with a much smaller team (15 total). 2K Games will retain rights to the Bioshock franchise and will more than likely create more games based on the world Ken has created. And to hopefully reduce the impact of lost jobs, 2K is holding a recruiting event to try and find jobs with other developers for the laid-off employees.
